Nov. 20, 2007-SNOW IN WEST YELLOWSTONE

Today we all woke up to a winter wonder land. It is amazing. Over the night it has snowed about a foot at the Rendezvous Ski Trails in downtown West Yellowstone. We arrived and all the trails were groomed and tracked. It looks like the races are going to happen this weekend so we are all happy now. Pictures coming soon...

Nov. 3, 2007-First time trial on snow up at Hatchers

Well the season has really begun. The other day we did a very difficult 15-16k classic (we do not know the real distance) TT. All I know is that is was very hard and probably a great way to remember what it is like to get back racing. The first 10 minutes of the tt is all uphill and the last bit is just grueling then we did many smaller loops near the top of the hill. The weather was awesome, the sun was coming up mid tt and temps were mid 20's so very manageable. I felt decent, not great but also not bad. My body was moving ok I was not able to maximize my every stride. I am happy though as a first real race like effort for the season. I really want a sprint now or a shorter distance race. I hope West Yellowstone gets enough snow so the racing is good. Well until next time, Chao. Tyson

Nov. 1, 2007-Leaving in two weeks

Two Weeks from now I will be leaving for West Yellowstone and the start of the race season. I am getting very excited and training is going really well and the team is looking strong. The snow has not been the greatest in Anchorage but at hatch ers it is getting deep so the training is always good. I have trained many more hours this summer and fall than I have any other year so anything can happen now. I just want to race!!!
