Back home!!! I have just arrived in Fairbanks to visit family and friends, it just so happens that the skiing is very good. Most people I talk to seem to complain about the ice, but from what I have been seeing in other places the skiing here is top notch right now. The trails are ok for skate and classic at both Birch hill and the UAF trail systems. It is a little colder and daylight is getting a bit lower, but it is comforting to see what real winter should be like. Here are some pictures from skiing today and the newly remodeled Goldstream Sports Store. It looks really great, check it out if you are in Fairbanks.
